When Lisa Hoeve, Founder of Hope Pkgs, saw too many foster kids arriving at the Hoeve Home with only the clothes on their backs after being removed from their homes, she knew something needed to change. That’s when Hope Pkgs was born. Nine years later, nearly 7,000 children across Michigan have found comfort in a First Night Bag from Hope Pkgs, offering them a sense of comfort and compassion during a difficult transition.

In September 2024, L’Oréal Paris awarded Lisa Hoeve and Hope Pkgs the prestigious honor of being named one of ten L'Oréal Paris Women of Worth, an award that recognizes the achievements of non-profit leaders making a profound difference in the lives of others by tackling some of our society’s most pressing issues.

Each year, the beauty brand selects these women from across the nation to support through charitable grants, mentorship, and a national platform to spread the word on their important charitable missions.
